Cavender Band is one of San Antonio's favorite
party bands. This is an interactive group judging their audience's mood and adjusting
their music accordingly. Rick began playing in a band at the age of thirteen. The rest has
been a steady building of name recognition and reputation."

represented in this high energy, multi-talented dance band. The versatility they offer is
incredible as they bring you a musical collage of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbias, Country, Latin
Rock, Big Band/Jazz, Polkas, R&B, Disco, Samba, etc...

hummingbird-fast over the taut, bruised head of a conga drum. They slap and tickle out a
fiery, red pepper rhythm, then slowly blend it into the groove of lilting Latin Jazz piece
like suntan lotion being rubbed on the back of a beautiful woman. The hands belong to
