SUMMARY of PARTI  EVENTS

Each Year SOUTH TEXAS CHARITIES, INC., through their operating affiliate "PARTI", hosts three major fund raising events to raise money and collect toys or canned goods.  Proceeds from these events are donated to and benefit one or more various local charitable causes. 

Official Major Events:

These official fund raising events are held in:
     - April-May (Spring Tequila Party),
     - Early October (Fall Tequila Party),
     - Mid December (Champagne & Schnapps Party) to raise funds and collect toys with the
        U.S. Marines just prior to Christmas.

Each of these "official" major events is preceded by one (or more) "Pre-Event" Parties to provide the general public the opportunity to obtain tickets in advance.  This helps PARTI to estimate a head count for food and refreshments.  Several live bands provide a variety of music for your dancing enjoyment.  The major events are held at various locations in and around the San Antonio, Texas area at top rated Country Clubs, Hotels or other first class establishments.  Most major events (with the exception of the Halloween Party) are "Black Tie" affairs requiring formal attire of all attendees. Cocktail Dress, Coat & Tie required, Black Tie Optional.  Although we're in Texas, No hats, No Jeans, No Exceptions - Heck, it's time to take that Saturday night bath anyway and see what we look like all cleaned up.   :-)   Each invitation will spell out requirements for that particular event.  

Un-Official "FUN" Events:

Occasionally, an additional "FUN" party, trip or activity may be arranged from time-to-time in addition to the "official" major fund raiser events to break the monotony of all this hard work.  These "fun" events are totally separate from the charity fund raising events and are not funded in any part by funds raised by official events. Each participant pays for their own expenses in whole.
